Ms. Zanele Ntombela
Ms. Zanele Ntombela is the owner and Managing Director of Ilitha Management Consultants a firm that provides a comprehensive management consulting service to small businesses, the public and private sector clients. Ilitha Management Consultants is a management consulting company that has been operating for 25 years providing services in Human Resources Management, Marketing and Socio-Economic Research, Social Facilitation and Business Advisory Services.
Ms. Ntombela is accredited and a member of different professional associations including:
- The Institute of Business Advisors South Africa (IBASA)
- The South African Market Research Association (SAMRA)
- The South African Board of People Practices (SABPP)
- The South African Rewards Association (SARA)
Ms. Ntombela is currently a Board Member of the Mangosuthu University of Technology Human Resources Management Advisory Board, a Risk & Audit Board Committee member of the Institute of Business Advisors Southern Africa (IBASA) and a 2nd Vice-Chair of the Durban region Committee of the South African Board of People Practices (SABPP). She has served previously as a board member and non-executive director of IBASA (2021-2023), where she was the chairperson of the Human Resources Committee. She is the previous the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees for the SEDA/ National Construction Incubator for 10 years (2006 -2015). She is also a previous board member for the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) between 2011-2014 and an Executive Committee member for the Durban Business Women Association (2010-2012).
She has extensive knowledge and skills in leadership, corporate governance and oversight, business management, human resources management, organisational development, change management, enterprise development, research design, project management, data analysis, report writing, business assessments, business plan development, market research, monitoring and evaluation
